Harper taps the glowing button. TINK.

The platform answers with a soft, rising hum. Whummmmmm. Pixel rings lift from the floor, circling Harper’s ankles, knees, shoulders like slow, glowing hula-hoops. The flower maze blurs gently as the platform drifts upward, not fast, just a calm elevator made of light and blocks.

Above the maze, the world opens wide. Harper wobbles, then plants feet, hugging the pillow tight. “Whoa… sky view,” Harper whispers. Below: the cozy hill camp, the lantern arches, the shining lake, all tiny and perfect. New paths of faint, dotted blocks flicker in the air around the platform, like choices waiting to be picked. The button pulses again, showing three small icons: a house, a boat, a star. Harper squints, grinning. “Okay, Pixel World. What’s next?”
