Harper jumps onto the dirt circle with both feet. Thump. The ground blinks.

Whummm. The circle lights up in soft rings of color, rising like calm ripples. Blocks lift from the dirt and spin slowly around Harper, not fast, not scary—just a gentle orbit of glowing cubes. The flower walls lean back, giving more room.

Chunk. Chunk. Chunk. The spinning blocks settle, building a low, round platform with a cushy, patterned floor—like a tiny stage made of blankets and pixels. In the center, a new block appears: a smooth, glowing button, pulsing in time with Harper’s heartbeat.

Harper hugs the pillow to their chest, eyes wide. “A secret control panel,” Harper whispers. “But for what?”
