The pixel clouds part with a soft shhhh, and Harper’s floating path glides right up to the glowing horizon of the Minecraft world. For a moment, it’s like standing between two panels of a comic: bedroom on one side, blocky sky on the other. Both feel real. Both feel safe.
The tablet screen shimmers—whoomph—and Harper sees it all at once: the tiny house they built, the square sun, the calm, quiet fields. This world is always here, waiting inside the screen. A place to build. A place to play. A place to visit… and then gently leave.
The block beneath Harper’s feet drifts backward, back toward the bed. The clouds fade to shadows. The path settles by the blanket with a final, sleepy ping. Harper snuggles under the covers as the tablet dims to a soft, night-light glow.
“See you tomorrow, Pixel World,” Harper whispers.
Sleep loads. Dreams spawn. The End
