Harper taps the star icon. TINK.
The build table flares soft white, then cools to deep midnight blue. Outside the sky base window, the square moon pauses. The whole sky ripples—shwooom—like someone turned a page.
New stars blink on over the island, bright pixel diamonds sliding into smooth patterns. Lines of light connect them, drawing gentle constellations: a tiny block house, a tree, a boat, a little bed floating on a cloud. Each one glows, then settles into a slow, steady twinkle.
Down on the lagoon, the water mirrors the sky, doubling the calm sparkle. The island looks wrapped in starlight, quiet and safe. Harper presses a hand to the glass, pillow under one arm. “Nice,” Harper whispers. “You gave the whole world a night-light.”
