Harper steps all the way through. Fwooomp. The portal closes behind with a soft, echoing shimmer.
Under Harper’s bare feet: soft pixel grass, springy and square. Each blade is a tiny green block, glowing faintly in the night. A blocky moon hangs low in a deep, navy sky, surrounded by perfect cube stars.
Harper wiggles toes in the grass and laughs quietly. “It feels… real.” A gentle breeze drifts by, carrying the sound of distant, calm water. No mobs. No danger. Just a wide, peaceful Minecraft meadow stretching out in every direction. The pillow plops down beside Harper with a soft thump. Harper picks it up like a shield. “Okay, Pixel World,” Harper says. “Where do we go first?”
